New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, Dec. 27, 2024:

Dec. 26, 1:30 a.m., Jamie Jo Staten, 57, Hymera, was arrested on a warrant for battery against a public safety official. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Adam Adcock was the arresting officer. 

Dec. 26, 7:15 p.m., Rocky Joseph Hamburg, 37, Jasonville, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, resisting law enforcement causing bodily injury, and false identity statement. He was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. No bond was allowed. Jasonville Police Department Officer Skylar Scott was the arresting officer. 

Dec. 26, 8:24 p.m., Christopher Paul Minks, 48, Worthington, was arrested on a preliminary charge of intimidation. Bloomfield Police Department Officer Ryan Montgomery was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
