New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2025:

Jan. 27, 4:23 p.m., Jaylen Alexander Mark, 30, Evansville, was arrested on a warrant for theft when the value of property is at least $750 but less than $50,000. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Special Deputy Trista Myers was the arresting officer. 

Jan. 27, 5:40 p.m., Travis Richard Fulk, 53, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of domestic battery. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Linton Police Department Officer Jerrad Pirtle was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
