Jeanine Marie Mowery

Jeanine Marie Mowery, 84, of Bloomfield passed away Friday July 18, 2025 at IU Health West Hospital in Avon, Indiana.

She was Born October 24, 1940 in Knightstown, Indiana the daughter of Zelpho and Frances (Trennepohl) Jordan.

Jeanine was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an active member at Harvest Community Church where over the years she was involved in vacation bible school, Operation Christmas Child, sewing club and the bible study group. She loved volunteering at the Family Life Center and previously served on the Board. Jeanine loved sewing, gardening and working in her flower beds.

To say that she was an avid Indiana University basketball fan is a giant understatement. She was normally a calm collected woman until the Big10 basketball season started.

Surviving relatives include her husband, Donald Mowery, her three children, Lori (Keith) Johnson, Lisa (Paul) Gall, Jeff (Annette) Mowery, her grandchildren, Claire (Dan) Spears, Sarah (Daniel) Pochop, Andrew (Tori) Johnson, Bradley (Makayla) Johnson, Samantha Mowery and her great grandchildren, Jackson and Leland Spears, Ellie Pochop.

Jeanine was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kathleen Ann Mowery, two sisters, one brother and her parents.

Visitation will be held from 12 P.M. until 2 P.M. on Thursday July 24th at the Harvest Community Church in Bloomfield (1482 East Harvest Church Road).

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. at the Harvest Community Church with Pastor Jeff Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
