It is with great regret that we announce the cancellation of Greene County National Night Out for 2025. Originally scheduled for August 5, 2025, this event has been cancelled.

This was not an easily made decision, and one that weighs heavily on the hearts of this organization. For nearly two decades, National Night Out (NNO) has provided an avenue for our agency, and Public Safety Agencies throughout Greene County, to interact with our community.

The Linton Police Department has always managed and organized this event. Due to a myriad of reasons, most of which are directly influenced by staffing issues, we have not been able to fulfill those tasks.

It is our sincerest of hopes that the issues setting us back and forcing this cancellation for 2025 can be mitigated and we will return for Greene County National Night Out in the Linton City Park in full force on August 4, 2026.

I apologize for this reluctant choice and thank you for understanding.
