Larry Lee Daugherty, age 82, of Jasonville, passed away peacefully at 8:46 am on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Serenity Springs Senior Living of Jasonville. He was born in Jasonville, IN on January 8, 1943, the son of George & Mary (Burger) Daugherty.

He was a graduate of Jasonville High School. He worked as a machine operator at Alcan for several years as the business went through several name changes and eventually retired in 2006. He was a United States Army Veteran and was a 53 year member of the Jasonville American Legion as well as the Linton Moose Lodge #1431. He enjoyed watching sports, keeping up with politics but was especially an avid fan of IU and Colts football.

Larry is survived by his children, Linya (Chris) Rehmel, Pat (Lisa) Daugherty and Justin Daugherty; grandchildren, Tyler, Jared, Robert, Olivia, Ella, William, Isabelle and Oliver; 4 great grandchildren as well as his loving companion of 21 years, Shirley Hobbs.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Dwayne Daugherty, Janice Greene and Sharon Earle.
