New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, Feb. 17, 2025:

Feb. 14, 10:48 a.m., Kenneth Joe Clampitt, 65, Bloomfield, was arrested on a warrant for invasion of privacy. No bond was allowed. Bloomfield Police Department Officer Ryan Montgomery was the arresting officer. 

Feb. 15, 6:02 p.m., Ray Michael Harlan, 28, Jasonville, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction and operating a vehicle while intoxicated—endangerment. His bond was set at $8,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $800. Jasonville Police Department Officer Skylar Scott was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
