Greene County Jail Log

New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, May 19, 2025:

May 16, 6:51 p.m., James Karl Hoffeditz, 56, Linton, was arrested on a warrant for possession of methamphetamine. No bond was allowed. Linton Police Department Chief Paul Clark was the arresting officer. 

May 17, 3:37 a.m., Tyler Jared Thompson, 34, Shelburn, was arrested on preliminary charges of battery, criminal trespass, and invasion of privacy. No bond was allowed. 

May 18, 4:39 a.m., Briar Shad Caddell, 21, Jasonville, was arrested on a prelimimary charge of operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration equivalant to .15 or more. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $400. 

May 18, 8:08 p.m., Ricky Eugene Porter, 28, Bloomington, was arrested on a warrant for criminal mischief—pecuniary loss of at least $750 but less than $50,000. His bond was set at $1,000 with 10% cash allowed. Bloomfield Police Department Deputy Marshal Jordan Brant was the arresting officer.
