New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, May 30, 2025:

May 29, 12:26 p.m., Rickey Dwayne Jackson, 47, Sullivan, was arrested on a preliminary charge of invasion of privacy. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy James Carpenter was the arresting officer. 

May 30, 4:46 a.m., Divine Daberichi Uwagerikpe, 24, Suwanee, GA, was arrested on a preliminary charge of resisting law enforcement using a vehicle. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Chris Anderson was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
