New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, June 17, 2025: 

June 16, 12:15 p.m., Shawn Matthew Wilcox, 25, Bloomington, was arrested on a warrant for domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16 years old, strangulation, criminal mischief, and invasion of privacy. No bond was allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
