New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, June 23, 2025:

June 20, 1:15 p.m., Jerry Lee Byers, 64, Bloomfield, was arrested on preliminary charges of child molesting, incest, neglect of a dependent, distribution of obscene matter, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia. His bond was set at $80,500 surety with 10% cash allowed. 

June 20, 11:14 p.m., Kenneth Wayne Rippy, 65, Solsberry, was arrested on a warrant for possession of methamphetamine. No bond was allowed. 

June 21, 9:56 p.m., Jacob A. McKenzie, 39, Linton, was arrested on a warrant. His bond was set at $500 cash only. He was released after posting $500. 

June 21, 10:06 p.m., William Wayne Lacer, 45, Linton, was arrested on a warrant for battery with bodily injury. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with 10% cash allowed.
