New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, June 3, 2025:

June 2, 3:15 p.m., Dakota James Woodall, 28, Newberry, was arrested on preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement using a vehicle, driving while suspended with a prior suspension within 10 years, and reckless driving. His bond was set at $5,500 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $550. 

June 2, 4:23 p.m., Adam Daniel Simmons, 39, Fort Worth, TX, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating with a controlled substance in body and possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish/salvia. He was held on a surety only bond. 

June 3, 7:13 a.m., Michael Wade Pate, 44, Bloomfield, was arrested on a warrant for possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish/salvia. No bond was allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
