Danny R. Cox, 69, of Linton, Indiana, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, at IU Hospice House in Bloomington. He was born on July 7, 1955, in Sullivan, Indiana, to Curtis and Irma J. (Cunningham) Cox.

Danny worked in various facets of the carpentry trade. He attended the Linton First Baptist Church. Danny enjoyed watching and attending all Linton Miner sporting events, especially those in which his children participated. He liked to cook and grow vegetables, considering tomatoes his specialty.

Family left to cherish memories of Danny include: his mother, Irma Cox of Linton, a daughter, Kayla (Chase) Rhoten of Linton, sons, Kurtis Cox of Evansville, Karter (Sierra) Cox of Bedford, and Konner Cox of Evansville; and a granddaughter, Renlee Rhoten.

Danny was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Cox, a brother, Floyd ‘Archie’ Cox, a sister, Carolyn Floradis, and an infant son, Kristian Dane.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday, February 28, 2025, at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Pastor David Tyra officiating. Danny will be laid to rest in Linton Fairview Cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon, the time of service, on Friday, February 28th, at the funeral home.
