James David Higar, age 64, of Linton, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025. He was born in Linton, IN on October 13, 1960, the son of George & Iris (Oliver) Higar.

He was a 1979 graduate of Shakamak High School and attended Apostolic Bibleway Church in Linton. He was a kind soul who kept to himself and would spend most of his time at home and enjoyed going to church on Sunday.

David is survived by his sister, Jamie Woodward; two nieces as well as five great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton.
