Leah V. Anderson, 96, of Linton, Indiana, went to Heaven peacefully, with her loving daughter by her side, on Friday, March 29, 2024 at her home. She was born on April 20, 1927 in Edwardsport, Indiana to Isom L., Sr. and Stella (Beauchamp) Smith.

Leah was a member of the Linton First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and childcare provider.

Family left to cherish the memory of Leah includes one daughter, Angelia Anderson of Linton and several nieces and nephews.

Leah was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Isom, Lloyd, Paul and Robert L. Smith.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Stafford Cemetery in Sandborn with Pastor David Tyra officiating.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the cemetery.
